Mass State Health Officials Set to Vote on Medical Marijuana Legislation

Today, Wednesday May 8, 2013 will mark the vote of Massachusetts health officials regarding the proposed medical marijuana regulations that have been set out since voters deemed that medicinal cannabis should be legal in November.  If voted in favor of these regulations, they will allow dispensaries to open throughout the state and approved patients will be able to receive as much as a 10 ounce supply of medical marijuana over a 60 day period.

If today’s regulations are voted into effect dispensaries are not likely to open for several months as towns will need time to vote on zoning regulations and other logistical matters.
