Massachusetts Medical Marijuana Possession Limits

Law makers in Massachusetts have been voicing some concern over the current policy on the amount of pharmaceutical marijuana that patients will be allowed to possess.  The currently proposed regulations would allow a patient to have up to 10 ounces of medical marijuana for a 60 day supply.  Some officials feel that this quantity is too high and that it will allow patients to consume too much on a daily basis, making them a danger when operating vehicles or a work.

The Department of Public Health is still undergoing the decision making process before official regulations are set.  You can read more on the subject by checking out NECN’s “Concerns grow over Mass medical marijuana” by Jennifer Eagan.

Do you think that 10 ounces is too much for a 60 day supply?  Please leave your comments below.
